This policy explains how Waldtiefe (“Waldtiefe,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through waldtiefe.com (the “Site”), our waitlist and our email and text messages.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your email address and, if you choose, your mobile number when you join the waitlist; your name, email and message when you contact us.
- Consent records. If you agree to text messages, we record the date and time, the consent language you saw, your IP address and your browser type, so we can show that you agreed.
- Technical information. When you submit a form, we record your IP address, approximate country and browser type to prevent spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also processes standard connection data to deliver and secure the Site.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this Site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
How we use it
- To send waitlist and launch updates you asked for, by email and, if you agreed, by text.
- To reply to your messages.
- To protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations and keep records of consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and send messages (for example, our hosting, database, email and text-message providers), under agreements that limit their use of it to providing those services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages.
Third-party services
The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when pages load. Google’s use of that information is covered by its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and contact messages for as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records. We keep consent records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Text: reply STOP to any message.
- Access, correction or deletion: send a request through our contact form with the topic “Privacy request.” Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them as required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date, and if a change is material we will tell waitlist members before it takes effect.
